MOBILE — Top-ranked LeFlore had too much firepower for Spanish Fort to withstand in the boys 5A sub-regional contest on Friday night.
Demarcus Cousins scored 21 points — including seven dunks — grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked seven shots to lead the Rattlers to an 87-42 win over the visiting Toros.

--LEFLORE 114, FAITH ACADEMY 59: Demarcus Cousins scored 33 points and Marlon Ford and Darryl Woods each added 14 as the state's top-ranked 5A team won the Area 1 title.
